We proudly service San Antonio, Boerne, Helotes, Stone Oak, Fair Oaks Ranch, Alamo Heights, and surrounding Hill Country communities. If it heats water, you can bet we work on it.

Around here in San Antonio, the cost to install a new water heater can vary depending on the type, size, and code requirements. On average, a standard tank water heater installation runs anywhere from $1,900 to $2,700. Tankless water heater installations usually range higher, typically $3,500 to $6,000, since they require more setup but deliver endless hot water.

Every home is a little different, but our promise is honest pricing, professional installation, and work done to Texas code. We proudly serve San Antonio, Boerne, Helotes, Stone Oak, Fair Oaks Ranch, and surrounding Hill Country communities.

If you’re not sure which system fits your home best, give us a holler—we’ll help you pick the right water heater without the runaround.

No sir, we don’t believe in nickel-and-diming our neighbors. At Word of Mouth Plumbing, you’ll never see a “trip charge” just for us to show up. We only charge for the plumbing work you actually need. Honest pricing, friendly service, and quality work—that’s the way we do business here!

We keep it honest ‘round here. Most plumbing repairs in San Antonio run anywhere from $150–$500 depending on the job. Big installs like water heaters or repipes may cost more, but we always give an upfront estimate—no surprises.

A runnin’ toilet can waste gallons of water each day. Usually it’s a flapper or fill valve issue. You can close the emergency shut off valve supplying the water to the toilet tank while you work on it OR call Word of Mouth Plumbing and we’ll fix it right the first time!

Hot water trouble? Could be your heating element, thermostat, inner tank leak or even a gas supply issue. Our licensed plumbers will diagnose it fast and get that hot water flowin’ again.

Low water pressure could be caused by leaks, clogged pipes, aging Water Softener or even a faulty pressure regulator. The most common thing we come across is water softeners and pressure regulators, water softeners are generally easy to check, put the unit in bypass and see if your fluctuations are fixed… if it has better flow it’s probably time to replace the water softener. We can provide several options based on your families needs. As for the regulator, that’s a little more complicated you have to perform a couple kinds of pressure tests with gauges. We’ll inspect your plumbing and fix it fast.

If your water heater is under 8 years old and needs minor repairs then repairing the unit usually the better choice, especially if you stay on top of the regular maintenance of your style of water heater.

If your water heater is older than 8–12 years or needing frequent repairs, replacement may be the smarter choice. We’ll give an honest assessment and help you pick the right system, whether it’s a traditional tank or a high-efficiency tankless.

You betcha! Whether you’re lookin’ to soften your water, get rid of pesky minerals, or enjoy crisp, clean drinking water with a reverse osmosis system, our licensed San Antonio plumbers can handle it all. We install, repair, and maintain water softeners, filtration systems, and RO units for homes across San Antonio, Boerne, Helotes, Stone Oak, Fair Oaks Ranch, and the surrounding Hill Country. Clean water, happy neighbors—that’s the Word of Mouth Plumbing promise!

Y’all hope you never have to use ‘em, but it’s mighty important to know where your emergency shut-off valves are. Most homes have a main water shut-off valve near the water meter in a yard box, at your water softener, inside your garage, and there’s ones on the meter but those need specific tools. From there, many fixtures like sinks, toilets, and water heaters also have local shut-off valves so you can stop water to just one area.

Not sure where yours are or if they’re working right? Our licensed San Antonio plumbers can locate, inspect, and even install emergency shut-off valves so you’re never caught off guard. We proudly serve San Antonio, Boerne, Helotes, Stone Oak, Fair Oaks Ranch, and the surrounding Hill Country.
